New service center

New Service Center for Central and South America
A new Hundested Propeller service center has now been added to the list. Ship-Mech is a one man company based in Mexico. Nikolaj Petersen has over 20 years of marine experience. He is educated at Hundested Propeller as a machinist/mechanic fitter and has since then worked for many years as a service engineer for another company. In connection with that he has worked on our equipment many times. In 2012 he moved to Mexico and started his own company Ship Mech. He will mainly be available for service jobs in South and North America.

Alloy Yachts has launched “Encore”

Alloy Yachts has launched “Encore”
In late June 2013 New Zealand based Alloy Yachts launched the 43,9 m sloop “Encore” designed by Dubois.
We have had the pleasure of delivering our propeller units for the Alloy Yachts sail boats for nearly 20 years. For this yacht with built number AY45 we have delivered a 4 bladed VP9½ FR-HP fully feathering propeller unit with a diameter of 1300 mm.

Danfish International 2013

Hundested Propeller attending Danfish International 2013
We will be attending Danfish International 2013. This exhibition is a unique opportunity to uncover the market for equipment for fishing. It takes place on 9, 10 and 11 October 2013 in Aalborg Kongres & Kultur Center, Aalborg, Denmark. We will be at stand number D870 were we will be displaying a complete gearbox/propeller unit and there will be opportunity to learn more about our company and products.

Hundested Propeller A/S supplies New York sludge tankers

Hundested Propeller A/S of Denmark has just finished the work on the first two propulsion units of a total of six to the New York City – Department of Environmental Protection.
Bollinger Shipyards Inc. is building three 140,000 CU ft. vessels for the transportation of liquid sludge from wastewater treatment plants without dewatering capabilities.
