The CPG gearboxes introduce new principles for marine gears, as it is possible to fit PTOs as a modular system. The CPG gearboxes can be applied to both Hundested Multi Pitch Propellers and other types of variable propellers.
The hydraulic system includes a double oil pump. One pump is utilized exclusively for the pitch control and the other one is utilized for the clutch, the shaft brake, and lubrication.

Marine Gear CPG 32
The Marine Gear CPG 32 is specially designed for high-speed diesel engines from 300 to approx. 800 HP, depending on speed and reduction ratio.
The Marine Gear CPG 80 is designed for speeds up to high speed and power from appr. 1000 HP to appr. 1800 HP, depending on speed and reduction ratio.
Marine Gear GPGA 140
The Marine Gear GPGA 140 is a right angle gear with controllable pitch servo. It is designed for speeds up to high speed and power from appr. 1000 HP to appr. 1800 HP, depending on speed and reduction ratio.
The Marine Gear GA 80 is a right angle gear without controllable pitch servo. It is designed for speeds up to high speed and power from appr. 1000 HP to appr. 1800 HP, depending on speed and reduction ratio. PTOs can be fitted as a modular system. the gear has a hydraulic clutch.
