Type FR-ELC
Fully reversible compact electrical pitch control unit with built-in thrust bearing. The pitch can be adjusted only at low shaft RPM and low propellerload. The pitch is controlled from the wheelhouse via a potentiometer.
Main data FR-ELC
Type FR-HP
Fully reversible hydraulically powered proportional pitch control unit. The pitch can be adjusted under full RPM and propellerload. This gives the opportunity to combine the pitch control and the engine control system to avoid overloading of the engine. An external hydraulic pump must run continuously to provide pressure for the unit.
Main data FR-HP
Type FR-H
Fully reversible hydraulic pitch control unit with built-in thrust bearing. The pitch can be adjusted under full load. Remote control from the wheelhouse by either mechanical, pneumatic or electronic systems. An external hydraulic pump must run continuously to provide pressure for the unit.
Main data FR-H
Type FR
Fully reversible mechanical pitch control unit, actuated either by handwheel or by an electric motor. The pitch can be adjusted only at low shaft RPM and low propellerload produced for units up to 800 HP. A heavy duty thrust bearing is built-in.
Main data FR
Type FR-HFC
Fully reversible system that has a flanged hydraulic cylinder, with hollow bored output shaft, which is mounted on the output flange of a normal gearbox. An O.D. box (oil distribution box) is mounted on the front end of the gearbox, and a double hydraulic pipe connects the system through the hollow output gear shaft. The unit is available from 800 HP to 3200 HP.
Main data FR-HFC
Type AIS
For use with a reduction gearbox with built-in hydraulic pitch control, where the pitch can be set while the propeller rotates or with a normal reverse/reduction gearbox, where the pitch is set with a wrench while the propeller shaft is stopped. Not recommended for feathering design.
Main data AIS
Type SEMIFIX
Variable with pitch adjustment nut. The propeller consists of our standard head and blades. The pitch is adjusted by means of the nut on the tip of the propeller head when the vessel is drydocked.
